　　本片根据瑞德哈葛德（H.Rider Haggard）的小说改编，为1985年动作冒险片《老天发威》(King Solomon's Mines)的续集，由莎朗史东与理查张伯伦携手合作。莎朗史东在片中所饰演的考古学家跟随男友理查张伯伦前往非洲西部，找寻他失踪的兄弟--就在一位濒死的神秘人交给他一块金子之后…

　　《红色木鸽》是莫瑞提首部在国际间获得票房斩获的影片。《红》片是描述一名共产党政要兼水球运动员米基磊，在车祸丧失记忆之后还硬被拖去参加水球比赛，而主角在比赛过程中所作的抉择，以及主角与他人甚或与自己的对话，则让影片在试图为意大利共产党重新定位的表象下（反映八十年代后期前苏联与东欧共党纷纷垮台所引发的政治认同危机），解构了共产主义、法西斯主义、资本主义以至天主教神权的诸多神话，成为当代意大利政局纷乱的“寓言"。同时，比赛进行间在游泳池畔还有影片《齐瓦哥医生》的电视播映，《齐》片的高潮甚至令众人围观而中断了比赛的进行。但当齐瓦哥猝死在广场上，那毫不知情、疾行离去的女主角既呼应着《甜蜜的梦》里非真实存在的女孩，更象征了政治理想的逝去与无回。        莫瑞提的头两部剧情长片《自给自足》与《Ecce Bombo》也成功为他塑造出了“分身"——米基磊·亚皮赛拉（Michele Apicella）。在1989年的《红色木鸽》（Palombella Rossa）之前，此角即持续出现在莫瑞提的片中，是个由莫瑞提亲自担纲、与周遭人常有隔阂、总陷入恋爱又带点自恋、同时不断寻求解答的行动派角色。

　　安妮（奎文赞妮·瓦利斯 Quvenzhané Wallis 饰）从小就被父母抛弃，然而，乐观坚强的她一直都相信着，自己的父母总有一天会回来同她相认。安妮生活在汉尼根小姐（卡梅隆·迪亚茨 Cameron Diaz 饰）的家中，在那里，日子算不上好过，然而，这并没能浇灭安妮对于生活的热情和对于未来的希望。
　　威尔（杰米·福克斯 Jamie Foxx 饰）是一名富有的商人，野心勃勃的他决心竞选纽约市长。在副总裁格蕾丝（萝丝·拜恩 Rose Byrne 饰）和竞选顾问盖伊（鲍比·坎纳瓦尔 Bobby Cannavale 饰）的怂恿之下，威尔做出了一个惊人的决定——收养安妮，企图依靠这一举动来为自己赢得更高的支持率。然而，古灵精怪的安妮哪会乖乖听从他的摆布呢？

　　板仓亮子（宫本信子 饰）是港町税务署的调查员，她工作认真负责，但在收到一位老婆婆的指责后，她不再将目光停留在普通老百姓身上，而是转移到大的商会上面。在她锲而不舍的追查下，许多狡猾的公司老板纷纷现出原形。不过亮子也有为难的时候，经营旅馆业的权藤英树（山崎努 饰）就是一条狡猾的老狐狸，任凭亮子怎样调查也找不到蛛丝马迹。
　　不久后，亮子因工作出色被调到国税局侦查科，她和同事齐心协力侦破不少偷税案件。随着一同匿名举报电话的到来，权藤的案子再次提出，亮子决心将其偷税事实彻底查清……

　　王尔德（格伦·克洛斯 Glenn Close 饰）曾经是一位万众瞩目的电影明星，她即将与哈洛德（帕特里克·斯图尔特 Patrick Stewart 饰）举行她的第四次婚礼。然而，在婚礼前夕，她的前夫劳伦斯（约翰·马尔科维奇 John Malkovich 饰）忽然出现了，很明显，这个男人想要搅黄王尔德的婚事。

　影片改编自天空小说，该片是梁无相首部时装片。刁蛮千金廖莉莉和露露姐妹登报招考丈夫，却未能找到合适佳婿。两人都仰慕歌王萧月白，于是设计令父亲廖伯乐带全家到香港，以制造机会认识他。萧月白本与黄太太有私情，但因奸情被她的丈夫黄天乔发现而要避到香港。在餐厅内，萧月白硬要其朋友小李冒认为自己，以避过追而至的天乔。阴差阳错，露露误将小李当做真的萧月白，而莉莉则认识了真的萧月白。两姐妹均坚持自己的男友才是真月白，但即使出尽法宝也还分辨不出真假。天乔将小李当成奸夫抓到警署，而真月白自认假冒，使莉莉一怒而离开香港，而露露亦以为小李只贪图她的钱财。黄太太到了香港，打算跟萧月白远走高飞。萧月白设计令黄太太与黄先生复合，而莉莉收到萧月白的信后亦原谅了他；小李也说服了露露仍相信他是真月白。最后两姐妹各自得到如意郎君，皆大欢喜。

The father is not exactly subtle about his interest in the tutor, but the woman prefers his much more sensitive son.

　　"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

　　Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
